“We”, “our” and “us” refer to Sofa SOS, our employees, sub-contractors and agents.
2. Variation of Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions form the basis of your contract with us, and no variation of any of them may be made by either party without the written agreement of the other. Therefore, if you require any variations, please make sure that you ask for these to be put in writing before placing your order.
3. Price
The price is in £ Sterling and includes Value Added Tax and other taxes, duties or tariffs. The price is agreed when your order is placed and your order confirmation received.
4. Payment
Where goods are paid for by credit card, or via a third party payment scheme, the full purchase price is payable at the time you place the order. To enhance your security and to help prevent credit card fraud, we reserve the right to request proof of identification before accepting or processing an order. Where payment for goods is made via a third party e.g. “Paypal”, the contract will also be subject to any specific rules or terms imposed as a condition of using of the service.
5. Delivery
At the time the order is placed the order details will be passed onto out logistics time who endeavour to schedule a delivery date within 24 hours and will call to confirm the date. This date can be postponed or altered if not convenient, and will be dependent upon stock availability, delivery schedules, seasonal constraints, etc. However, we will do our best to ensure that any items you order will be delivered to you within a reasonable time. We will advise you as soon as possible if circumstances beyond our reasonable control affect the estimated delivery time.

We will contact you to confirm the delivery details when we have the goods ready for dispatch. In order to limit your waiting time, we will normally confirm whether the delivery will be made during the morning or afternoon, and ask for you to be contacted when the carrier is approximately one hour away from the delivery address.
On the day of delivery, please ensure that there is vehicular access to the property and that the carrier has clear and easy access into the room that the goods are to be delivered into. It is your responsibility to check dimensions, and to ensure that the furniture will fit comfortably into the chosen room. Please note that we are unable to take away your old furniture. We will remove all packaging from the goods and allow you to examine them to ensure that there are no obvious defects.
6. Cancellation
You have a right to cancel your order within 7 days following the receipt of the goods. Contact our online team or refer to your payment confirmation email for details. Please note that where goods have been made to your specification you do not have the right to cancel your order unless we are in breach of our obligations to you.
If you cancel your order and we are not in breach of any obligation to you, we will charge £69.00 to cover the cost of collecting goods from you. You must take reasonable care of the goods, and will be responsible for ensuring that they are in the same condition as when originally delivered.

8. Correspondence and Official Communications

10. Jurisdiction
Any contract entered into as a result of the use of this website shall be governed by English Law and any related dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England. Contracts shall be concluded solely in English, and no other language will be offered. This website is intended for domestic consumers only. No liability shall be accepted for any legal implications arising from the use of furniture we supply for business purposes. We accept no liability for any consequential or other related losses suffered by businesses arising from their purchase of our products.

We make every effort to ensure that this website is free from viruses or other defects. However, due to the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee that the use of our website will not affect your computer, or that it will be compatible with all hardware and software you use.
